to me, each screen is an app so i intuitively just look at the window for action stuff v. I also am not used to the menu bar being up top. XP Pro is just as stable if not more given the install base and the sheer number of third party apps and hardware it's gotta handle.i've had good luck with XP Pro to date. i've had a couple of times where the colorful circle thing just happened cuz i opened up an app and my OS is pretty darn lightweight since all i use is your basic productivity stuff like word and surfing with safari, etc. the whole love fest about the Apple OS being more stable. While it's true that there is more software out there for the PC, most people will find that there are plenty of solutions to a particular application need for the Mac.
